FileReady

Signature Between 10KB and 20KB

Photograph or scan your signature on white paper, upload it here, and we will land the file inside the 10–20 KB window most forms ask for.

Required size range

We create the highest-quality file possible within this limit.

Required dimensions (optional)

Only if your form states pixel sizes. We crop from the centre — the image is never stretched.

What this tool changes

A signature is mostly white space, so file size is driven by the paper texture and shadows. We flatten the image onto a clean white background and tune the quality until the size sits inside the range.

Common upload problems

The paper looks grey or shadowed
Retake the photo in daylight with the phone directly above the paper, avoiding your own shadow.
The signature looks too small in the frame
Crop tightly around the strokes before uploading so the signature fills the picture.

Frequently asked questions

Can I draw the signature on my phone instead?
You can, but most portals ask for a scan of a signature made on paper, so a photograph of real ink is safer.
JPG or PNG for a signature upload?
Follow your notice. When it says JPG/JPEG, use the JPG produced here.
