What this tool produces
- Required range: 20 KB minimum, 50 KB maximum (editable).
- Output format: JPG on a white background.
- Take the photograph square-on so the strokes are not skewed.
- Supports JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP and other image formats your browser can open. iPhone HEIC files must be shared as JPG first.
How to use this tool
- Upload a photo or scan of your signature.
- Set the range your notice specifies.
- Press Prepare image.
- Download the JPG.
What this tool changes
The pixels of your signature are preserved; only the stored detail changes. Extra headroom at 50 KB means the strokes stay smooth rather than jagged.
Common upload problems
- Result stays below 20 KB
- Very clean scans compress extremely well. Upload the original camera photo instead of a screenshot or a WhatsApp copy.
- The signature is cut off at the edge
- Leave a small white margin around the strokes when photographing the paper.

Frequently asked questions
- Do banking application forms use this range?
- Ranges vary by notice and can change between cycles. Always read your own application notice and enter the figures it gives.
- Is a WhatsApp forwarded image fine?
- It is already compressed and often too small. Use the original file for a better result.
