What this tool changes
We aim for a size inside the range rather than the smallest possible file. When a photograph falls below the minimum, extra detail is retained so the file grows back into the accepted window.
Common upload problems
- The result keeps landing under 20 KB
- Your original may be small or heavily compressed already. Use a fresh, sharper photograph taken at full camera resolution.
- My photograph is rejected for its dimensions
- Check the pixel size in your notice — many forms want 200 × 230 pixels alongside the KB range.

- Why would a form set a minimum size?
- A very small file usually means a low-quality photograph that cannot be verified at a test centre, so portals set a floor as well as a ceiling.
- Can I prepare my signature here too?
