What this tool produces

Works best on scanned or image-heavy PDFs, where most of the size sits in the pictures.
Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.

What this tool changes

Each page is re-rendered and stored as an optimised image inside a fresh PDF. That removes bulky embedded scans, fonts and metadata. Text remains visible but is no longer selectable, which portals accept for uploaded proofs.

Common upload problems

The text became fuzzy: Raise your limit slightly, or split the document and upload only the pages the form asks for.
My PDF is password protected: Open it in a PDF reader, save a copy without the password, then compress that copy.

Frequently asked questions

Can any PDF reach any size?: No. A 40-page scan cannot honestly become 100 KB and stay readable. We tell you when we reach that floor and give you the smallest readable version.
Is the PDF uploaded anywhere?: No. Pages are rendered and rebuilt inside your browser.
